What more could you want? This renovated Art Deco 2 bedroom home is superbly located within walking distance to the world famous Cataract Gorge and a short drive to Launceston CBD and attractions. The home offers all modern conveniences, whilst maintaining the properties 1930's integrity. Both bedrooms have ample built-in wardrobes, with the master offering an ensuite. The main bathroom has just undergone a renovation and you'll be blown away by the quality of the fitout - WOW! The spacious lounge room opens up onto the kitchen/dining. With the open plan kitchen and dining, providing spectacular views to Launceston's East. There's a deck off the kitchen, which is the perfect place to create gourmet delights made from local Tasmanian produce. The second sitting room, doubles as a third bedroom, with a double sofa-bed. There is free off street parking and free wifi. The local bus stop, heading into the city, is only a few minutes walk away. After all of this, we promise, you'll never want to leave!
If you jump in the car, you're only a short drive to some of Launceston and surrounding areas local attractions. Queen Victoria Museum, Boags Brewery, Utas Stadium and award winning Harvest Market (on every Saturday morning). Drive a little further out of Launceston and you'll soon be in the famous Tamar Valley region, offering world class wine and food. Head in the other direction and you'll find yourself in the historic villages of Evandale or Longford.

  While the house was old, lovely and in a nice area, the condition of the home was not great, LOTS of cobwebs in just about every room, bath tub would not hold water, 2 of of the 3 bedroom ceiling lights did not work and the windows were painted shut in the ensuite bathroom. Also the provided washing machine seals were mouldy and left our clothes smelling musty, as well as the laundry being very dirty and somewhat cluttered.

  The home has been partially renovated and has modern ensuite and kitchen. However there is a major issue with spiders in the house we killed over a dozen and they just kept appearing each day. Also driveway entry is difficult for sedans due to angle - we could not get in driveway and had to park down street. Also street is very busy with constant traffic making entry/exit difficult.

  Despite this being a lovely home, we thought that it lacked TLC. A draw in the ensuite bathroom had no bottom, shelves collapsed in cupboard in the main bedroom and our bed collapsed in the second bedroom overnight. Also we were disappointed at not being permitted to use the fireplace.
