Transported from the mists of the Scottish Highlands, Bonnie Doon, a hunting lodge, has a dark romance all of its own. A spacious living area surrounded by ancient wood panelled walls, adorned with antlers and tartans in glorious colours. A huge four poster bed, hung with richly hued tapestries, trimmed with lavish fringes and tassels and silk draped walls bring romance to the bedroom. The second bedroom with double bed accommodates the hunting party admirably and a walk-in shower in the bathroom replenishes at the end of a long day.

  A delightfully quirky place as shown in the photos. It has a lot of natural light if you wish and well laid out. The kitchen had a sufficient supply of basics (tea, coffee, milk, oil ...) to make settling in easy. The location was excellent for navigating to other parts of Launceston and nearby areas.
  Two minor concerns are:
  The bathroom door could not be fully closed
  While the kitchen was generally very well cleaned, the crockery on display was dusty and one of the elements on an otherwise immaculate stove was covered in grease (easily removed by heating the element).

  Very enjoyable there was a couple of things that could be looked at , A smart tv ,some of the light bulbs need replacing ,couldn't get the wall heaters going ',thought that with a 12 day stay there would have been a linen change
